Rhyme and Reason are delighted to announce the arrival of GZA the Genius + SPECIAL GUESTS!
The legend and founding member of the seminal Wu-Tang Clan comes to Bristol showcasing his impending new album Liquid Swords 2: Return of the Shadowboxer. Come and see the artist responsible for such groundbreaking albums as ‘Words from the Genius’ and ‘Liquid swords’ play Bristol for the last show on his 2012 European tour. Born and bred in Brooklyn NYC, GZA has a discography of both Wu-Tang Clan and solo projects dating back to 1991, GZA is genuinely one of the most raw and thought provoking emcee’s that has ever lived.

 

Joining Gza and his special guests are two pioneers of UK hip-hop. SKITZ and RODNEY P have played shows all over the world. Albums such as ‘Countryman’ and ‘The Future’ have cemented the duo as the godfathers of the UK scene. These veterans put on a show that is truly not to be missed.

 

Spearheading Bristol’s musical revival right now are the Split Prophets. Fresh off their ‘Scribbled thoughts’ e.p launch, SP are rising to the top of the scene because of smart and hard-hitting lyricism twinned with the dynamic production of Krate Krusaders.
