After the sell out shows in London, Manchester, Bristol & Birmingham, Introducing return for one large concert in London.

Already attracting the attentions of Rob Da Bank, this 10 piece band take the first album to be composed entirely of samples (The Guinness Book of Records) – DJ Shadow’s seminal Endtroducing and play it completely live, note for note, drum loop for drum loop, on real instruments with no backing track or sequencing in sight, a seemingly impossible task they make look easy.

HMV Forum London, Sunday 12th December 2010

Responsible for some of HIP-HOPs finest moments Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth re-unite for a rare and exclusive London show. Hailing from Mount Vernon, New York, they made their debut in the rap world in 1991
Pete Rocks production acumen was highly praised along side of his partner in rhyme [C.L. Smooth] who possessed a distinctive flow matched with a perfect delivery. Classical songs such as They Reminisce Over You (T.R.O.Y.), a tribute song packed with emotions that hasnt been duplicated up to this day and showed the conscientious of the lyrical rhyme slayer C.L. Smooth. After successfully releasing three albums the soul-tight brothers departed ways leaving die-hard fans in a frenzy for the signature horn loops of Pete and the verbal play of the smooth one.

While the word legend gets thrown around with little regard these days it is fair to say that EPMD have truly earned the title through a consistent catalogue of genre shaping classics.. With the release of seven brilliant albums over a twenty year period there are few acts in Hip-Hop that have such a proven track record.

The combination of Eric Sermon & Parrish Smith is more than a sum of it’s parts and with the backing of the incredible DJ and the producer responsible for many bangers for EPMD and Busta Rhymes DJ Scratch they will be plowing through all-time Hip-Hop classics such as ‘You’re The Customer’, ‘Richter Scale’, ‘You Gots To Chill’ and more. As suggested by the titles of all of their albums these founders of the Hit Squad are all about business and it is live that all of their years of experience in the business come to the fore so this is the place to be in London for any real Hip-Hop fans.

Joining EPMD on stage are London’s equivalent in terms of class, experience and longevity Skitz & Rodney P. Having cut his teeth with the legendary London Posse, whose first release was actually a year before EPMD’s, Rodney P has been at the forefront of the UK Hip-Hop scene and secured that position through his longtime collaborative partnership with DJ / Producer Skitz.

The audience will also be blessed with sets from Spin Doctor who will be setting the mood with his own brand of Hip-Hop and soul gems.
