INDUSTRY TAKEOVER MOBO SPECIAL
…Industry Takeover will be bigger than ever. This time the team are ‘taking over’ the stunning Contemporary Urban Centre (CUC) in Liverpool to deliver essential master classes, open Mic sessions, a music market, vocal/production/DJ workshops, showcases and a series of seminars, as well as exclusive video and short film screenings.
Seminars include “How To Steal My Job” & “Underground to Overground” which will give attendees an understanding of what it takes to break into the industry and climb the ladder of success. Other topics include marketing, branding, image development and digital technology.
Panellists for the two day event will include artists, managers as well as industry leaders such as:

YAW OWUSU – Founder of Urbeatz and Urban Music, Media and Youth Culture company based in Liverpool

Expect performances from MOBO UnSung artists KOF, Marvell, RoxXxan, GTown Desi, R.I.O, Mike Hough and unsigned Liverpool talent courtesy of Liverpool City Council’s Streetwaves competition. A whole range of activities are brought to you by event partners Sense of Sound, UR Beats, Liverpool Music Development Agency, LIPA and the Musicians Union, as well as other leading organisations across the music industry.
