“Rapper Tag lands in the UK”
Hoochinoo and Dfacer have teamed up to bring you RAPPERTAG UK the online hip hop cypher. Rappertag was originally started in Australia by 360 and its popularity has grown, he describes it as follows;
“The concept of #RapperTag is simple: one person is “it”, they spit a verse, then tag another person who then becomes “it”, and so on and so forth. I started it to see how far it could go, and to see how many different types of emcees it could reach.”
– 360
RAPPERTAG UK has now launched and MYSTRO aka MysDiggi is the first rapper up, he becomes Rapper Tag #1. To see Mystro’s Rapper Tag video and who he tags next go to www.rappertag.co.uk. Stay tuned for more Rapper Tags as the videos and the phenomenon grows.
Hoochinoo has been promoting live hip hop in the UK for the past 8 years, they teamed up with Dfacer, a graffiti artist who has lived in Australia and introduced the Rapper Tag concept to them. They saw the potential of Rapper Tag in the UK and with all the talented emcees up and down the country they expect this to grow rapidly.

Monday Medicine with special guest Iron Braydz
http://www.spinetv.net/funhouse
Spin Doctor & Chris P Cuts are back on the Funhouse this eve spinning the best in Hip Hop old and new. Tonight they are joined by special guest Iron Braydz.
IRONBRAYDZ is out to stake his claim in the Hip Hop Community. Hailed as one of the UKs foremost MCs & Producers (IronChrome pro.) He’s supported the likes of IMMORTAL TECHNIQUE, WU TANG CLAN & the legendary Public Enemy.
Iron Braydz raps on sociopolitical, religious & lifestyle issues faced by many of today’s young and old alike. His beats are reminiscent of ATCQ and the late great Jay Dilla, whilst his lyricism is unsurpassed in the UK.
Having performed on and produced tracks with M1 of Dead Prez, Sean P and more recently Guilty Simpson & Kyza Smirnoff, Braydz (as he’s affectionately known,) is set to take the conscious rap world beyond the realms of ‘back-packer’ music.
Make sure you come and join us! Broadcasting live from 8.30pm this eve here:

“Beltdriven has been on the scene for probably longer than you might realise… Paul McCarthy’s dub and rare-groove show got hi-jacked late December 2005 by one Ben Harris, who brought in a hip-hop edge, and the two have been the odd couple of radio ever since, once referred to as “The Wogan and Westwood of internet radio”.
Since the two joined forces, Beltdriven has become one of the South’s premier hip-hop shows, with all tunes sourced and selected by the boys themselves. Whilst playing the newest and best UK tunes is the priority, they also play reggae, some American hip-hop, funk, and those old soul numbers that got sampled and turned into rap classics along the way… The idea is that Beltdriven only plays stuff good enough to go vinyl – ie turntables with a beltdrive, hence the name. Clever word play? Maybe not. Phat tunes, things you need to hear, and the newest and best tunes around? A certainty.
Enjoy the show.”
